This machine has a very nice, big tub. It is great for washing comforters or sheets and towels. But it is LOUD! My washroom is located upstairs and opens up to the bedrooms. I cannot wash at night it is so loud. I even had the delivery crew who delivered the washing machine come back out to see if something was wrong with the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Where do you put the Fabric Softener if there is no Dispenser?

You have to buy one of those fabric softener balls that you throw in on top of the clothes. Believe me, I thought the same thing then I happened to look at the directions on the lid of the machine.
