This is a great product I needed a wi-fi range extender and after looking at all the different models this netgear was the one. I am extremely satisfied with my netgear would recommend if anyone is looking for a great extender.

My router is located in the livingroom, in the front of the house. I want to use my I-Pad on the patio. If I place this extender in the kitchen (1/2 way from the livingroom and patio, will I get a strong enough signal outside?

That is exactly why I purchased the netgear wi-fi extender for the same reason and believe me it works great. My router is upstairs and I placed it in the kitchen and I am able to use my i-pad laptop out back just great. with no issues
