Once you have a "C" wire that supplies the 25 volts needed to power the thermostat, it is a piece of cake to install, program, and use remotely. You can even ask Alexa to change the temp or what the current setting is... slick.

We need 5 of these for our church. Would this work well on energy efficient heat pumps or air conditioners in a “business” environment or are they just used for residential?
If configured properly, I'm sure it will. We have installed 19 of these (Honeywell Wi-Fi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat (RTH6580WF), Requires C Wire, Works with Alexa) at our church and they work extremely well from the cell phone app. The RTH6580WF are now compatible with the Echo dot, but we have not yet learned that skill.
With two of these T5's at home, they work amazing with the Echo dot and the phone app. They even have geo-fencing option to detect when you get to be within a certain radius or when you leave the building.

I want a thermostat that I can use with my central air unit since my heating system is separate and has a thermostat through my alarm system. Will this work?
Connect to your compatible speakers with this Logitech 980-000910 adapter, which features Bluetooth technology that allows you to wirelessly stream audio from most Bluetooth-enabled devices. The push button pairing ensures simple setup.
When I Bluetooth music from my Alexa or phone the sound is very distorted or muffled and no volume control. I plugged this into the phono RCA plugs on my Yamaha receiver because I was not using them could that be the issue?
Four possibilities come to mind:
1. I would suggest that you plug the RCA plugs into an Auxillary/Tape/CD input (if available) as opposed to the phono input;
2. the distance from your phone/Alexa to the Bluetooth receiver and what other items might be using the same frequency (2.4GHz?) could be a culprit;
3. likewise, the volume level at your phone/Alexa - if it is either too low or too high, your signal to noise ratio might be off (the volume level at your Yamaha receiver is related);
4. the quality of your cable and its shielding - bad connections = poor sound.

I have wireless ATT internet but when connected to the UTV top box player, it keeps buffering and I can't see the video. UTV box customer service suggested connecting ethernet cable directly from the ATT internet router to the UTB streaming player. Thanks for your help.
Since this is a cat 5e cable, it should easily supply the speed you need to stream.
