I liked both modes, classic pixelated when I take the switch with me and the new cartoonish version on the TV. Same game, with the same characters and moves, gave it 4 stars as it should've been thirty dollars not forty.

I was pleasantly surprise it had an iPhone control. The device works really well and does't lag. I am also able to mirror Google Chrome from my Mac, if you have Windows or Android phone, for the price it's a no brainer, get it. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I know there are other options out there, including the Fire Stick but this box is great. Doesn't lag at all, unlike my Apple TV (last generation though). I wanted to have a product based on Android for the goodies available and so far I'm liking it a lot, and it's 4K :)

I cant view My Passport....
Apple store loaded all my info from a dead Mac to My Passport. When I plugged in the device to my new computer, it allowed only for me to create a "shortcut" on to my desk top but I cant open to see it's contents. I need my resume' and right click only shows options for rename, delete, properties, etc. Nothing that allows me to open and view.......
It seems you went form a Mac to a Windows PC. Windows will not read a Mac formatted drive unless you purchase a software such as MacDrive 10. You can search the web for other options, there are plenty

PC and Mac?
The guy at Best Buy said the "Seagate Backup Plus for Mac" would work for Windows computers also, I have worked on this for hours trying to get this to work. He said it has the windows logo on the side and it would work, I bought (2) one for me and one for my Wife's computer. We live about 75 miles from Best buy. cant get it to read either computer. Does anyone know what the problem is?
Hello Craig. The "guy" at Best Buy is correct BUT he failed to let you know that this drive is formatted for Mac computers. Mac computers use "Mac OS X Extended Journaled" format while Windows computers use "NTFS" format. You can make the drives work but you need to reformat them in Windows. I would need to know what Windows version you have (e.g. XP, Vista, 7, 8, or 10) to let you know how to do this or you can simply exchange the drives for Windows formatted hard drives.

What is the difference between 3.0 and 2.0. How do I know which one I need?
USB 3.0 transfers are up to 640 MBps (Megabytes Per Second), 2.0 transfers are up to 60 MBps; basically USB 3.0 is about 10 times faster than USB 2.0. You have to check your computer to see if it has USB 3.0 ports. This drive is backwards compatible with 2.0 which means it works with both 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports. Hope this helps.

will this drive back up data from my dvr
I have a dvr used to store movies I have streamed via a satellite dish. I wish to purchase a hard drive to store this data to free up the space on the dvr. Please let me know of an alternate external hard drive product that will preform this task, if this drive does not. Must be a 2.0 usb port and 500 gb to 2tb; I prefer 2tb. Thanks
This drive is compatible with 2.0 USB so your DVR unit should have no problems reading it. However, you have to check your DVR's instructions and figure out what type of format it can read (e.g. Windows NTFS, Mac OS X Extended Journaled, FAT32). The DVR will probably only read FAT32 format in which case you will have to format the hard drive for it to work on your unit. Hope this helps.

does this product have a sd card slot?
I want to transfer my pics from my sd card to an external hard drive while I am traveling.
No, this hard drive has a USB connector only, to transfer any files to the hard drive you will need to connect it to a computer's USB port. In your case, you will have to transfer your pics to a computer and then back them up on an external hard drive.

Yes, it is a drive formated for Windows NTFS format which is the same for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10

Will this work for Mac OS X?
I see in the system requirements that for Macs it "requires reformatting." What exactly does that mean? I am running Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan on a 2013 Macbook Pro.
You will need to reformat the drive to Mac's format (this drive is formatted for Windows NTFS format) you reformat in "Applications - Utilities - Disk Utility" then select "Erase" and "Mac OS Extended Journaled" BUT! if you are not familiar with formatting drives I recommend you get a "Formatted for MAC" hard drive, same price and brand.
