What's great about it: It works just as described
What's not so great: It is a little bulky
This product is quite sophisticated. I like the fact that it knows when I sleep, or walk, or run, or bike, without having to tell it. It does think I am biking when I mow the lawn - but this is not a big problem! The heart rate monitor is quite good for a monitor worn on the wrist. I recommend it.

Is it water proof? can I swim in the ocean with it?

No. The literature states that the monitor is not water-proof. It does say that you can shower with it, I believe, but I would not recommend it.

Does it tell time?

I'm not familiar with fitness watches. In addition to the fitness features does this device also tell time like a conventional watch?
Yes, it does tell the time and date.
