Yes, there is a on/off switch for the buzzer on top of the dryer on the panel.

Dryer door is too hard to open and close - anyone else have a problem with this dryer?

I have to slam the door hard to close; then I have to use one hand to hold the dryer from sliding around and the other to pull on the dryer door to open. In both cases, I first tried to open and close with less force and this did not work.
I don't have problem with the door.
