If you are sick of plain tap water or really have a La Croix addiction or just hate buying juice or pop for your family and it's gone in 12 seconds, get this machine. I don't know what makes the other versions of soda streams so expensive but this simple one is great. I thought the novelty would wear off and my pop addicts would go back to complaining I didn't buy enough but they haven't. Some of the flavors are not tasty but it's ok. We use ours multiple times a day and when you exchange the gas canisters a new one is half off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ARE INEXPENSIVE SODA STREAMS ABLE TO MAKE GOOD SELTZER WATER?

Yes. You can control the amount of fizz you want. Colder water seems to hold more fizz than that straight from the sink, but both are adequate.
