As a Mac user, I find the iPad easy to use. I tried an android based tablet and didn't like it.

I have no prior experience with SSDs but have been impressed with the boot time of the drive. I have it in a second computer but am considering using the drive for the OS in a computer I'm planning to build (or I may just pick up another at this price).

which capacity "flash drive" do I need?

(long story short0 I am one of seven brothers lost during childhood, separated to the foster program. Through the efforts of my 1st cousin, we have been in contact with each other. One of my brothers received our mothers collection of pictures and wants to use his scanner to put in computer then transfer to flash drives for each of the surviving brothers. One has past since our reunion by phone and I have not seen a picture of myself under the age of ten, so I am very anxiously awaiting your response. Thank You in advance, Rocky
There are many variables including the number of photos and the size of the scanned photos. It would be best to scan all the photos into a single file on the computer and then check the properties of the file to see how large it is. That will determine the size drive needed.

Is it bootable?

The drive can be made bootable assuming your system has the option to boot via USB.

Can i use this on my cars radios USB drive and play the music stored on the drive?
Assuming the file format is compatible with the radio it should not be a problem.

How many hours of video will the flash drive hold?

That will depend on the format of the video. If you look at the "properties" of the video, it should tell you the file size and you can determine from that. I think the general rule is about 1 GB per hour.

How do I find out if my hard drive needs replacement and if it does, how do I check which one is the right one?

I have a HP Pavilion tx2500 and I have dropped it long time ago. To save money, I have decided to fix it if it doesn't cost too much. It makes some scratching metal sound and it does not load windows. It gives me an error. Some say that it might be the hard drive and if it is, how do I check if the hard drive is the problem. And if that is the case, what do I need to look for a replacement? Is it possible to put SSD on my laptop?
The scratching metal sound could be the hard drive or the computer cooling fan. Dropping the laptop could have dislodged the memory or other connections, causing the boot problem. The computer definitely needs to be opened and checked. Assuming it still works, installing an SSD should not be a problem if the drive uses a SATA connection. can anyone tell me how long does a bunch of photo's lets say 40. take to download from your computer to the external hard drive. just a estimation is fine

The time will depend on the size of the photos and how the external drive is connected. Assuming a fairly new system and a USB 2.0 or 3.0 connection the transfer should not take more than a few minutes.
