I have been shooting with Canons for over 10 years, but this camera at less than $1000 is comparable, and slightly better than my 6D. I don't know what Sony did, but its pictures are phenomenal. If you don't have to shoot 4k video, save yourself $2000 and buy this model vs. the mk ii or mk iii.
I would recommend this to a friend!

what is the main difference between a mirror less vs a SLR camera and is there any disadvantage of a mirror less camera ?

I prefer the mirrorless. It is smaller than an slr but puts out the same quality.

Hello, What's the difference between the Canon 5D Mark III and this camera?

About $2500. It shoots nicer than my Canon full frame. It is also smaller, this is where the industry is going. The days of carrying around a bowling ball are over.
