What's great about it: My three year old navigates through the channels, sound and can easily get DVD's in and out on his own!
What's not so great: Haven't had any problems as of yet...
This was a purchase for my three year old sons bedroom. This TV has been very easy to use and the quality for the price just can't be beat.

DVD PLAYER

I just bought the tv/dvd combo. Hooked only into cable line. The dvd player plays movie but the audio is horrbile. So much background noise I cannot hear the audio. Tried every setting in the dvd menu but I cannot clear out the background static. When I watch reg tv, the audio is just fine. Is there some other setting I a missing? So frustrating as I bought the combo to eliminate having a separate DVD player and a million cables I do not know how to hook up!
Seems as if you got a rotten apple...although I am not getting Focal Lab quality sound from this unit the sound works just fine! Good luck with your return!

What is the channel digital signal

Does this TV only output 5.1-channel digital signals or does it have 2-channel digital stereo (PCM) input signals?
Sorry but you will not be enjoying 5.1 through this little guy...2 channel only.
