I would actually give these 4 1/2 stars if I could. These are the best headphones I have ever heard from B&W, greatly improved from their closed in, overly warm earlier models. The P7 wireless still have a somewhat elevated bass, but control and slam in the bass region is excellent and the elevated bass does not muddy the excellent midrange. Highs are very good also. Imaging not a pinpoint as the Sennheiser Momentum wireless, but also very good. Superior bluetooth range, and interference when it does occur is not as "busy" as on the Momentums - instead of a series of dropouts and digi-noise as on the Senns, I usually only get a simple dropout of signal - much less annoying. Everything is improved a bit in wired mode, the bass is even better controlled, making them less warm while improving slam even more, midrange & highs also improve. Best ear pads ever - very deep and the foam forms a nice seal which is very effective for blocking outside noise (there is no Noise Cancelling in these as in the Momentums). Clamping force is very strong at first (which helps with the seal) which may be off-putting to some. These are excellent headphones, especially for Bluetooth headphones, but I find the Momentums a tad more refined and prefer them slightly to the P7. However, they are close enough in quality that it is a matter of taste I think, and many will prefer the B&W - you can't go wrong either way.

nicely balanced, beautiful midrange, open, extended highs without any harshness, great imaging, very fluid, bass accurate but not overstated - these aren't Sennheiser 600 / 650 level phones, but they are very, very good - amazing that they can sound this engaging without the need for an amp or DAC - very good bluetooth range, just a tad behind the B&W P7 in this area. The P7s feature more bass slam and have a somewhat elevated bass region compared to the Senns, which works better for some music but overall I prefer the faster bass of the Senns. I also prefer the Senn's imaging.

If you're only going to buy one Jack McDuff album, make it this funky classic. Backed by the incomparable Grant Green on guitar and Jimmy Forrest on tenor (with drummer Ben Dixon) this cookin' session sounds better than ever in this RVG remaster.

Jimmy Heath is, as one of his album titles indicates, a Triple Threat - fine tenor player, excellent song writer and great band leader. This session, with many top flight players, is as good a disc as Heath has ever made.

Great post-bop guitar playing from one of the finest young guitarists on the scene. Throw in the unbeatable rhythm team of Ben Street and Bill Stewart and you have about as fine a guitar trio as you could ask for. Lund is not a funky player, nor a fusion player, but a very skillful interpreter of both jazz classics and more modern material. Very personal style and huge chops.

Will Bernard is a terrific West Coast guitarist who never achieved the fame of Charlie Hunter. Bernard began recording about the same time as Hunter (and in fact they both played in the legendary T.J.Kirk band) and has used many of the same sidemen as Hunter (on this disc, John Ellis appears on sax. Ellis was part of Hunter's great trio of a decade ago). Funky but intelligent grooves, memorable tunes - great stuff from a fine player.

Long time Sennheiser fan, I looked forward to the new Momentums and purchased them after an extended in store demo seemed to indicate they were as good as I hoped. However, on getting them home and pairing them with music I knew and better electronics I found them to be elevated in the bass region to an extent that it not only made songs overly warm sounding but also messed up the lower mid-range. Also, the highs were strongly rolled off, making them sound closed-in. These seem to be Sennheiser's attempt to woo the Beats crowd. They are not an accurate headphone by any means.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having extra charging cables is just a no brainer these days. Time lost to finding/replacing a misplaced/pet damaged/left in a hotel room cable that is not there when you need it is quite annoying. So buy a couple and always be ready when your device is in need of a charge.

I have these in 4 rooms in my home for handy, anytime charging. They make great stocking stuffers and gifts as most people only have the charger their device came with - an extra charger to place in another location or stash in a travel bag has always been well received when given as a gift. Also, this 12w charger will not only charge an iPhone but charge it faster than the 5w charger the iPhone ships with.

Is this a "green" drive?
I'm hearing that "green" drives are not the best choice for your boot (main) drive due to their slower performance.
This drive runs at 7200 rpm. Green drives run at slower rpm (usually 5200 - 5900}, which helps them use less energy and achieve "Green" status. For example, the Western Digital Green drives run at 5400 rpm. The slower speed means both slower access times and slower data transfer times. The difference is not as dramatic as between a rotational drive and an SSD of course, and I have seen some Green drive perform very well. But generally, though Green drives make excellent backup drives, I would agree that performance-wise they are not the best choice for a boot drive. (SSD drives have come down dramatically in price in recent months and would be a much better choice than any rotational drive as a boot drive).
