This is a good radio for it's size. i bought it as a gift for a hiker who enjoys it on the trail. It has a weather channel. It is compact and not too heavy. However, it comes with bulky headphones . I purchased small headphones to use with it instead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What are the dimensions of this Sony Portable Digital AM/FM Radio with Weather Band

The person for whom this radio is intended is sight impaired and needs something larger than the traditional "Walkman" radio
I gave it as a gift so I can't measure it myself. However, a reviewer on another site said, "Dimensions for this product are approximate due to it's curvature on the bottom as well as having a belt clip on the back. With this in mind the dimensions are 3 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2'' tall and 7/8 inches wide."

It is small but the push buttons make it easy to use.
