I was in the market for a mic to use on my not yet ready youtube channel. I had heard of this brand before but it was out of my meager budget at the time. Well, now it is a different story and I will tell you the deets.
The Good:
Heavy duty construction with balanced stand to keep it where I put it.
Gain control for time where I want to whisper and not shout (not that I need to with this)
Volume control for headphones, So you can monitor your sound and get the right levels before you commit to the stream.
Variable mic patterns. So you can have it all to yourself, or switch to one that lets the whole gang be hear on all sides.
Pop screen is like whispering through pantyhose, but t does work well with the S and P and the occasional sneeze (ewww boogies).
USB cable is good length and should fit most needs when connecting to nearby computer.
Sounds this thing picks up are warm,smooth and handy if you have asperations of being a jazz DJ.
The Bad:
Almost no instructions to operate this thing. I mean, yes I can look online, but sometimes it is nice to read about different options you choose from before you seek more advances stuff.
USB is old tech. I mean like 90's usb mini (your old cell phone charger). Which is fine, except if you forget it, or it gets damaged, you will have a hard time replacing it quicky. Should have been more like a USB-C or even USB mini so at least I can go to the store to get a spare if needed.
USB plugs in the bottom, which works fine, but does not leave a lot of room for the clearance of the table and stand, My fear is it will get knocked around and either break or come loose.
With streamlabs code, I had no idea what this was or how I would use it. I know now, but leaving people in the dark with random insert is confusing to me.

I got this to assist me in my IT training (I educate teachers on new tech) and I will say I am glad I did. However, there are some minor things that keep me for fully using it everyday. But that will come later. I like to do a good, bad, and ugly review on my products. So here we go.
Good:
Battery life it great. I am able to get through most of my day on 1 charge using static content (power point, word, etc) and a little video.
Keyboard and touch pad are very responsive and have nice click/travel.
Color gamut is fantastic as the colors really pop with high color separations.
Weight is a little lighter than most with a screen this size.
Resolution is good with plenty of wiggle room to adjust to your preferred size.
USB-C ports are fast and I was able to charge from either side, making this easier to accommodate any desk I was assigned to.
Viewing angle is one of the best I have used on a Chomebook as in most cases this is a area some models skimp on to save money.
Refresh rate is super. I did not see any screen tearing or muted colors while watch high resolution content.
Pen is crowning jewel in this model. I love having the ability to use the stowed pen that is always charged thanks to the powered stow area. it is very well "hidden" to prevent accidental lose.
Flip screen that lets you use it tent or tablet style is great. that way I can set up a presentation and show all viewers at the same time with little worries. using the table mode is great for note taking, art work or doing more exact tasks that don't work well with mouse/touchpad alone.
Bad:
Touch screen is not as sensitive as I would like. I found myself having to tap more than once to get things going. I will admit that I run cold, so maybe my frozen fingers are a partial blame. Also the screen is slightly more flexible than I was expecting, causing rainbow pixels if you press a little to firmly.
Pen is rather skinny and not really usable for long note taking, drawing, or whatever else you might use it for. After a while I kept dropping it from using it took long, as it thinner than a normal pencil.
Only 2 USB-C ports? not everyone has Bluetooth devices and most don't have type-c connectors. so cheap mice, keyboards and such that teachers tend to buy are out the window.
This is a fingerprint magnet. Just taking it out of the box caused dark spots were my fingers were and the anti glare screen is hard to just wipe off with out a "smearing" effect. So use it with out touch and enjoy the pristine screen, or actually use it as intended and have smudges all over your viewing area.
Ugly:
Palm rejection is nearly none existent on this. most people will put palm down, then the pencil and then start to write/paint/whatever. On this, you have to hover, touch the screen with pen and then you can touch the palm. I have so many notes with extra lines and highlights because I was adjusting my hand to write further down the page. needless to say, yes will work, but don't expect to be in a hurry and attempt it.
Opening is not a one handed as we were led to believe. almost all the time I have to use both hands and with smooth edges, it is hard to get it open easily. I would hope for at least a notch or something on the top to assist in getting it open quicker.
The webcam.. OMG. We are in 2022 and this thing has 720dpi video with what sounds like mono recording split into 2 channels. Colors are terrible and pixilate if you more to fast. Requires a lot of light to even work somewhat properly.

I would recommend this to someone that uses google classroom, has Bluetooth mouse/keyboard and is not trying to be artistic or use it for video calls. It functions as a Chromebook flawlessly, It is just all the added features that need work to live up to the current needs of 2022.

First off I really needed a heavy duty laser printer that did not cost a fortune. Well here is what I got and how I feel about it.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

price is perfect for my price range and printing needs
high volume duty cycle that exceeds my monthly needs
crisp and clear prints with sharp resolution
prints (over my wifi) extremely fast (like seconds)
does 2 sided prints
easy to setup and get going in a hurry
scans are high resolution and look fantastic.
packing was great with no cause for concern when shipped.
price is perfect for my price range and printing needs

The Ugly:
touch display is not adjustable like other models. So if it is not at "table" height, then you might have to get on your tiptoes to see what the screen says.
some menu items are hard to find or will not appear unless you back all the way out and start from the beginning.

So all in all I am really happy with the printer and am so glad I got it. It will save me time not have to wait for prints and money by making prints 2 sided. I love the duty cycle as it will enable me to share my printer in the home/office (you can print remotely as well) so speed up my productivity.
I would recommend this to anyone with home office or someone that needs alot of printing monthly that is not big office related,

I wanted a larger bluetooth speaker for going to beach, park or drive-in's. I have a smaller one, but wanted something more robust. Enter the Sony SRSXE200. Large in size, rechargeable, easy to connect and plays music, and that is all there is to it. Here are some points I wanted to share with the masses.
1. Does get loud and only seems to distort at higher volumes. So that is a plus in some regard.
2. Battery is decent in how long it lasts. Nothing to be excited about as almost any other this size has the same play time.
3. Takes a while to charge, but then again the battery is large, so makes sense. I left it plugged in overnight and it was ready by morning, but when I was awake it was not fully charge by the time I went to bed.
4. Quite heavy, but some people like heavy things as it makes them think something is worth the price.
5. I was not able to really hear any sound coming from front area of speaker (it has a notch so it has a "way" of sitting). I thought there would be more audio coming from there, but does not seem that way.
6. Side speakers are good size and can handle the volume nicely. However, unless you like wispy highs, mediocre mids, and almost no bass, I would suggest a pass on this one.
7. I played a 808 test track and although I was not expecting it to rumble off my table, it just did not perform even slightly. I am not sure if the bass portion (it there is one) is too tight and will not allow it to work correctly, or there is not one to begin with.
8. The app is useless. if you connect your phone to the speaker, you have more controls than the app gives you. Only things it does is volume, turn on or off, let you select your streaming service (pandora, spotify, etc) and that is about it. Oh sorry, it asks if you would like to join some service or something. So it seems like a marketing thing they stuck in there to get more interest in their devices. So there is no need to download the app (even though it said it did when I connected the first time) unless you want another program loaded on your device that does not do anything.
9. I will use this for large areas that just need sound or background distraction. But for listening to my favorite music, or hearing words with low tones (like movie dialog) I will stick with the smaller one I have for now.

Could not wait to try this out when it was released. All I can say is... how did I get along without this in my life.
1. exceptional battery with on single charge. I got many hours of use and after placing it in the case I was able to use multiple times without having to connect to USB cable for charging. it
2. it is small and easy to use. I attached to may shirt and off I was making memories with no looking back. I did not notice it was even there as I was going about my video creation,
3. sound is great and wind (mild) did not even get picked up with the enclosed windscreen. So audio was crisp and static free.
4. receiver is powered by Apple device (lightning port) and even though I have my phone in a slim case, it attached perfectly.
5. open any audio or video app on your device and go for it. I have many that I use and each one was captured in perfect sound, They say that the most important thing in making videos is the audio.
Downsides.
1. although you can seen a charging light when plugged in, you do not know battery level at any point during use or when in case.
2. Lid could be stiffer to avoid it opening easily, I had it flip open many times while packing and unpacking the vlogging setup. Thankfully I did not lose either parts from inside the case, But, it is still a concern.
3. No app to set levels, effects, or get basic device information to maximize the use to the person shooting video.

I was excited to see a new earbud from Sony after the cool looking last model. However, this is not much of a upgrade. Don't give me wrong, it is a good device and does what it is supposed to do. But, it is not anything new to compete on the current market to make it stand out, Here is my praise, prayers and pass opinions.
Praise:
Light (like almost nothing in the ear as far as weight)
Touch controls are responsive and once you get the sides figured out, you are good.
Easy to adjust the sounds to your liking. Like bass, treble, ambient noise, etc)
First pairing is quick and almost fool proof.
Signal is strong and I have not had any drop outs while in the range they operate in.
Case charges about 2x to assist with going all day with occasional removal.
Case has slight texture to it, so it is easy to grip when using,
Earbuds are magnetically secured into the case, so it will not come out easily when not using them.
Earbuds can be use either left or right at one time. Making your listening experience last longer (although only mono, but better that nothing).
ANC is epic. it blocks so much when active that I could hear my heartbeat (lol).
Conversation mode works great and when I was speaking it was perfect on turning off the audio and made it easy to talk without having to remove them from my ears.

I have always loved the innovations from this company. However, this item is not at "universal" as I had thought. So I will let you know what I have found out.
1. fits in most (in the last 8 years) monitors and tv's with both HDMI and USB plugs. If you don't have a USB nearby, then it better be close to a power outlet and you better have a adaptor to use.
2. easy to setup with onscreen instructions to guide you along.
3. decent image quality, depending on other wifi devices around you at the time of use
4. decent response time when used as a second monitor connection or as a presentation device.
Now for the bad things I have come up against.
1. does not supply its own connection. by this I mean it is not a self enclosed system. you have to use the wifi in your area to get it to work. Therefore it is mostly limited to home use and not office use (unless you are IT or admin on the network to allow it through).
2. USB to HDMI is too short or needs an extension for older devices. Not all monitors have USB on them, so that limits their use in some educational/business environments.
3. might be my unit, but when it works it works, but when other items are active in the same area, it will pause or disconnect briefly.
so I am glad I got it, but it has limited me to only occasional use in most cases.

I like to review my items in separate sections. So here is my thoughts on these ear buds.
Good:
Small and comfortable ear pieces (you can always change to suit your needs) and they come with many options for getting best fit.
Rechargeable case with easy to see battery level lights.
Case interior has lights so you see your buds in any environment.
Sound options are plentiful and you can always customize if you need to easily. The stock one is a little tinny, but adding some bass rocks it perfectly.
Case has QI charging available so that is a great option if you don't like wires or already have a dock set up.
They are extremely light and will not come out on their own once you get the correct fitting.
Too many choices in ear rubbers, ear fins and such so you will not have any problems finding your perfect match.
Bad:
Case has a slide to open lid, which on many occasions has opened in my bag and earbuds were out when I looked for them.
The customization program is not great as if you push the earbuds in too far and cut off air, it will not read your hearing test correctly ( I like my fit "snug")
Getting these things out of the case is difficult since they are so small and smooth. Also with magnets sometimes it will "grab" them back just as you are getting them partially out.
You have to make sure you preferred settings are active as I have had it change when I used one earpiece and then tried to use both.
Multipoint is great, but it will have a 2 seconds connect/disconnect if you walk out/in range while using them. I was watching a movie and moved to far from my phone and it cut the movie off for few seconds until it disconnected from the phone.
Ugly:
Case is smooth and like a little bar of soap if your hands are slightly wet or greasy. So be careful.
Charging cable is short, so it does little good to use a wall mounted charger.
Settings on each earbud do not work if only wearing one at a time. So volume, ANC, and the like are a no go here.
I will admit it is a great step up and I do enjoy using them, only wish it would prompt you with the profile you are on, so you can not lose battery "out of nowwhere"

I wanted.... no NEEDED a 4K tv and this was the right choice. First a few things to point out.
1. it is not heavy (about 60lbs) but is awkward, so get help handling the box.
2. this comes with enough packing to make a raft for emergency survival (don't quote me on that).
So here is the low down on this high rez monster.
Good:
good resolution
easy to setup with all included hardware (no tools though)
remote with all my favorite shortcuts (netflix, amazon, etc)
well built stand and decent frame for tv itself.
ability to tweak the color, temp, contrast, etc with no issues
picture is great at most all angles (depending on your model. the odd numbers have IPS panel)
changing type of sound is great (dolby, front sound, etc) and each has its purpose.
voice activation on remote is very good at getting your commands correct.
very nice 4k screen with great colors and separation.
Bad:
with solid white or black screen you can see the pixel shadows behind the plastic of the screen. So in high lit or dark programs you will see inconsistent colors across the picture.
speakers are not very bass heavy, so for full spectrum sound you will need sound bar or external speakers. but for normal shows it is fine.
this is only 60hz refresh so fast action is not fully smooth. Although you can adjust the fill frames in the settings, but that causes the frames to stutter sometimes.
Ugly:
if casting to the screen, it will not adjust to the rez of the source, so chromecast will "skip" frames and sometimes it will look like the background is fast than the foreground.
information pop-ups will happen randomly during a show that has been distracting. It asked me to adjust a setting that was either not on the tv or was not easy to find to fix.
if you are not used to 4k and have motion sickness, this will make you a little queasy until you get used to it.
I was not able to adjust the resolution to 2K or 1080P(I) to play my game via the game interface. So the game would freeze trying to push out 4k graphics.

I was using an older mesh router with a satellite since the signal was not going all the way upstairs. So when I decided to give this a try I was not sure if it would improve my situation. Well, I am happy to say that it exceeded my needs. Here is my run down for this excellent device.
1. very easy to set up and directions are simple (not always good)
2. getting logged in and getting the settings all arranged was easy with the tabbing system for each one.
3.it gave me the ability to use both 2.4 and 5 Ghz networks at the same time (the other one "meshed" them together). so now my lights can be used all over the house (runs one 2,4 system)
4. it has maxed out my data speed and I am now getting what I paid for
5. the gaming on this was a godsend since it has no lag, drops, or noticeable waiting times.
6. it reaches all my devices in the whole house and keeps the great speed as well.
There is not enough to say about how happy I am with this router. My laptop even has a pop-up saying "congrats on getting a router that works with my settings".
So I would recommend those to anyone that games, video chats, or needs a lot of data for streaming videos (who doesn't these days).

Does this version of the phone have a locked bootloader?
the only one that comes unlocked is the one from the Google store. The one best buy has is locked to their network.

Will I be able to use my gear s2 with the pixel?
I have a Gear 2 and it does not work with it yet. when changing phones it will have to reset your watch and reconnect. The issue I have is, the watch can connect to the phone via bluetooth but can not be seen in the gear manager. I suspect it it is due to the app not being updated to work with a 7.1 phone. I hope this does get fixed soon, however it is a Google phone and it is a Samsung watch. So no one really guaranteed it would work together. In the past the watch only worked with Samsung phones.

When will these phones be available in stores without pre-order?
In most cases yes. However since a lot of people want it, you will find it sold out quite a bit until the first few weeks hype dies down. But keep looking and be ready to travel to a few locations before you find one available.

I currently have the Netgear NightHawk router. Will this be better than that, and should I get rid of that one?
keep the router if you need to use the usb for hard drive, printer, etc support. But I hooked mine up just strictly for the printer since the ORBI just blew the nighthawk out of the water with the wifi speed and range. I can now cover my whole apt with one unit and with the satellite hooked up I can get wifi almost half way up my block.

Q I am looking for1 Orbi router and 3 Orbi satellites for my big home, since Netgear is not giving the option to buy satellites individually ,will I be able to order two boxes of Orbi and be able to use one of Orbi router as a satellite ,? interchange
each set is already "synch'd" with each other and just requires a simple button press to join them. However I have heard that you can buy extra satellites soon and once you do, all you would have to do is hit the sync button on them and confirm the M.A.C address with the control panel for the main router. I will tell you from experience with "repeaters" that once they are connected it will give you wifi and it will be decent, but the speed will be cut in half of that of the main unit. That is just how it works in the real world. However since the wifi is quite fast and has large area of coverage you will most likely not notice that difference from a older router speed .
My wifi is running at 850Mbs and satellite runs around 500 Mbs, but since my older router was only pushing 300-400Mbs I did not really care since on that end of the house it was just tablets, phone and such that were maxed out on speed anyway

Will this prioritize devices like some other routers do?
I have the router and have not found the ability at this time to add options for priority. I have in past used keywords like "world or Warcraft, ftp, or Skype, to add to the router table but this only has multi-media enhancements for streaming audio and video. Since this is still new and with the bonuses it has already for speed and coverage, I would assume this option will be made available in future firmware/software updates

yes it will work since it pen sized mouse for all intended purposes. however only a few programs will give the pressure sensitivity to use the pen to it fullest.

can i use this with photoshop 6
you can use this for what ever program you would use a mouse for. that is what it is really. However since APS is working with Wacom you will get the rated pressure sensitivity in the program and any other drawing/art app that supports pens with pressure and not just a pointing device
