I work in open office environments and bought this to help keep out the noise while working. I can work at home next to a partially full server rack (complete with a noisy switch) and with them on I forget it's even there. In an office setting I can usually forget I'm in an open office when working and usually have to have my shoulder tapped to realize someone is trying to talk to me.
I almost went with the over-the-ear version of the noise canceling head phones but decided to go with these for ease of portability. Also, while the ear buds last ~16 hours vs. the 35 hours for the over-the-ear version, these come with a usb port for charging so I can plug them into my laptop and keep working.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ear bud

Do these earphone come with small ear buds? I have small ears and regular ear but don't fit.
Yes. The headphones come with three sets of earbuds (medium -- the default) and then a pack of smaller and larger ear buds.
