What's great about it: Greate price, 1TB HDD, Ok grapic card, Windows8.1
What's not so great: Not as advertised
Machine came in just in time on the same day my old machine died. Unbox it and very happy with what I see. I tried to build similar machine on the other site, but none beat bestbuy price.
Two things that is not so good are
1) Graphic card is not what they advertised. Though it is not that much different. So I didn't bother return and get the correct one
2) Motherboard does not support 7.1 natively. Only support through software.

Will it void the warranty if I open the case to inspect the parts?
Warranty will not void as there is no sticker or anything that prevent you from opening the case.
