I bought this cooling mat online and site unseen. I had read that overheated laptops is a main reason they quit working and I wanted to prevent this. Our laptop is a high end Acer and has a 17 inch screen. It is used by myself and our 13 year old for school work, so it is often on the floor, bed or someone's lap. This mat plugs right into the laptop and cools. It has a fan, but it is not noisy. The thing I like most about it is that is sets the laptop on a slight slat making it easier to type. Our laptop is pretty big and it fits perfectly on the mat. The mat also has a lip, so the laptop does not slide down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased FItbit's for my husband and myself as a birthday present. Some family member's had them and we saw how much fun they were having with them. We got them set up right away and enjoying competing with each other to get our steps in. it has been a great motivator and keeps us up an moving when we might otherwise veg on the couch. I will often take the dog for a 10 minute walk in the evening when I see my step count is not as high as I want it or if I see my nieces, are catching up with me.

What's great about it: Quite, gets things dry
I also purchased the matching washer and have been happy with both machines. I am a partial dry person as I hang most everything while it is still damp. I am learning to use the features it has (like wrinkle release) and the different dryness levels. This is all new as I had an older machine with limited options. I use the book to make sure I am using the best drying option. It has a large drum so I don't doubt my bedding will fit. It also has a sanitize feature which I like.
This product is or has... Big enough capacity for a comforter, Stability, so it doesn't vibrate my house, All the cycles I need, Acceptable level of noise, All the settings I need, pause button which i use to pull out damp laundry

What's great about it: Quiet, several wash features, large capacity
What's not so great: Learning curve, this is not your grandma's machine
Purchased this machine after hours of research and reading reviews. I feel like I made the right decision. The machine is large and so quiet. I love the chimes that sound when the cycle is finished. I am learning to use the different functions and wash cycles, but it does take time. I have been using it for about a week and still use the book every time I do a load. It holds a lot of clothes! Something I am not used to. Very happy with the purhase.

Is a strong odor normal for the first cycle? If so how to get rid of

I just got my new machine today and when I run it (even if only for like 5 minutes) it has this very heavy smell, which the clothes also pick up. What do I need to do to get rid of it, will it go away on its own?
When the men delivered my machine, they told me to run it empty for 20 - 30 minutes. I did. I had a slight smell, but not bad, and I still smell it some a week later. It has not made my clothes smell though.
