This kindle has amazing graphics and the perfect size screen. I had an earlier model and it broke so I upgraded to this one. I enjoy the front and back camera it makes it a lot easier to take pictures on my daughter. She also likes to play learning games on it. And she doesn't accidentally hit the power of button it's conveniently located on the back of the device. Overall an amazing product I would recommend it to everyone!

Could you give me the width of the stand?
About 36 inches its not as wide as the tv itself.

Is this tv 120hz or 60hz

It is only 60hz. Though I do believe it said it was 120 but I cant find a way to switch it if you can.

hook up requirements?

I know smart phones, etc. require contracts or hook ups with verizon, AT&T, etc. Is there any requirement with this new Kinclle Fire? My last one did not and I can go on line shopping, e-mail, etc.
No its not required just wifi.
