What's great about it: Fast start up, shut down and everything else, long battery life
What's not so great: hdmi mini connection
We love it. A big upgrade from our last computer so windows 8.1 is a learning curve and some things not working well. Worth the extra money to get the latest chip. Battery life is true. Start up is automatic couple of seconds, as well as shut down. Drawback figuring a connection for a 2nd monitor- after reading lots of blog comments found Lenovo makes their connector 'deeper' than usual and most connectors you will have to trim back the plastic on the end to allow it to slip in deeper to the computer. Flakey wifi connection also read about a number of times, ours got much better after upgrading drivers. But computer is loved, the clarity of the monitor for viewing movies pics is great. Although the high resolution causes some issues trying to match up to a 2nd monitor but playing with it for awhile you can find some resolutions that work.
