This is not the Transformers you remember. The Autobots are willing to kill humans? And possibly looking forward to it? The overall plot was decent and the effects were cool, but the change in philosophy was very offputting for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Feature rich
What's not so great: lint filter
The dryer has many features from choices of laundry type and moisture sensor, but the lint filter does not fit properly. It is conveniently located in the front of the dryer for easy removal and cleaning, but the lint can easily go around the filter. Large loads have resulted in lint sticking to the door of the dryer as well.
This product is or has... Big enough capacity for a comforter, Stability, so it doesn't vibrate my house, All the cycles I need, All the settings I need

can this dryer be vented from the side

Not that I know of. The vent is on the bottom right if you are looking at it from the back.
