perfect hub if you have alexa and smarthub. possitioning is key in order to get pefect signal for all the devices. if you have your devices inside a closet then it will work and bounce, but if it's in the open and you have a lot of windows you might need to possition the hub like what i did on the other side so that it will see the devices and turn it on or off. I also set it up with smarthub and alexa so now i can turn it on or off with voice recognition also changing channels via voice command.
the hub is small and nice so it can blend in with decorations. great stuff i just wish the andvance pro remote is cheaper but with the rf signal the remote works great. simple remote it doesn't have a lot of adv features so limited this is really if your into using smart phone as the control.

Does this remote blast ir out as well as the smart hub? my tv is in another room with no wiring for the ir expansion in place?
it does blast ir signal but it wont reach far only at the location of the hub. it also depends on your house and how ir is allowed to bounce, windows mirros etc wont allow it to bounce. it comes with wire extender ir blaster but it's not long probably 8ft. your gonna need some sort of a ir extender or unless you can run a long 3.5mm wire extender then u can use the ir blaster that it comes with.

Replacement remote?
My son left the remote lay on his bed and I accidentally put it through the washer. I realized it before I put it in the dryer and I took the batteries out and let it air dry for a few days. My son put the batteries back in and the remote no longer works. Instead of purchasing the whole package, I was wondering if I can just purchase a new remote?
