Mac's are easy to use, excellent screen resolution with apps that are useful for me. Garage Band, as a musician, is the best. Four years of college to go and I am sure this computer will be with me all the way. The only downside is having to get unique adapters for using a projector, Apple doesn't interface well with other platforms.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Nothing is GREAT. Most is average
What's not so great: Windows 8.1, have to reboot often as keystroke functions change
With a different OS this could be a great machine. But when working on documents all of a sudden the tile page with useless apps reappears. It takes 20 seconds to get back to my work, just enough time to throw off my train of thought. The display is god, the full keyboard is a plus as is the wide screen for small group sharing. As is the case in most devices, the software denigrates the effectiveness of the hardware.
