Love having 4 handsets, this phone is very user friendly and easy to set up, loud ringers on handsets, answering machine could be louder. You can play your messages back on the handsets. The handsets are comfortable to hold,. easy to read large display and the buttons light up. Very happy with these phones.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I talk on one handset, then have my husband pick up a different handset, so we cam both speak/listen at the same time?

Can I talk on one handset, then have my husband pick up a different handset downstairs, so we can both speak/listen with the person on the line at the same time?

The answering phone I currently have won't let us use it that way. If I have a call & answer it, he can't hear or talk to whoever is on the line, unless I actually go downstairs & HAND him the handset - but THEN I CAN'T hear or talk to the person..
Yes you can I believe it called conference call, we use it all the time talking to family members
