Logitech Wireless Combo MK320. The combo that puts entertainment and portability at your fingertips. With 11 hot keys, you’ll enjoy instant access to the things you do most. Low-profile, whisper-quiet keyboard helps make typing and surfing easy. And the mouse stores the tiny Logitech receiver, so you can take your mouse wherever you go.

Works well

Bought this for my mother to replace her failing wired keyboard. She loves it and doesn't have to worry about tripping over the cord. Great battery life and a separate mouse for people who don't like the touchpad style mouse pads on the other wireless keyboards.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Logitech Illuminated Living-Room K830 Wireless Keyboard: Easily type and input commands with this keyboard, which uses a 2.4GHz wireless receiver to connect to your PC or Internet-connected TV. The 85 keys feature adjustable backlighting, so you can clearly locate them, even in dimly lit rooms.

Nice keyboard.

Worked right out of the box and is very responsive with no notable lag. The battery seems to hold the charge for a long time. I do wish it was a bit heavier so it would sit still on my lap desk, I might add some velcro tape to it to hold it from moving. If you use it on a desk, it will be fine. I also like that it's similar in size to my laptop keyboard so there was no getting used to it.

I have a one-in-all dell computer with original keyboard and mouse. Will a logitec work with this computer. I have windows 8

It should work fine so long as you have a free USB port for the receiver.

is there a device that will convert your cellphone to be used on home lines

Not that I am aware of, however, there are devices available that connect to your home internet connection and act like a mini-cell phone tower. I think they are only available through the carriers and they may still use your minutes as they are tied to your account and mostly intended to overcome poor signal.

Alternately, there are apps for most smart phones that will allow you to make calls via wifi. If you have Vonage, Nettalk or MagicJack, for your home phone, their apps will let you make/receive calls via wifi and your home phone number will appear on caller ID. This feature is especially nice if you travel internationally as you can still make/receive calls as if you were in the US.

What phone would you recommend for someone that is hard of hearing?

For home cordless phones, check out Uniden's "Loud & Clear" models. They offer a volume boost button and a speaker phone option in the cordless handset to help you hear more clearly. The phone also announces the caller ID and has a large flashing light indicator when ringing or if you have a message.
