What's great about it: Nice grip , very cute, decent protection
What's not so great: It's already falling apart
I bought this about two months ago for a 9 year old. It is used daily. The case is very cute and fits well on the iPod. All buttons work properly. There is no screen protection on this case, but it does wrap nicely around the edges and seems to offer good protection. My kid loves it. My only complaint would be that on one side, where two colors meet, is starting to peel away from each other. It would be nice if it were put together better, especially since it is obviously for kids.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Sturdy, good protection for phone
What's not so great: Speakers are covered!
Needed a really sturdy case, and this case is really great in that regard. I do find the design of the holster a bit awkward, but I got used to it. I rely like how the screen cover is solid , not allowing any dust in. Unfortunaty, the microphone is also covered, which makes having a phone call extremely awkward. It makes your voice muffled. Even peeling back the speaker covers didn't work sufficiently, and I finally had to cut them off . It still covers some of the speakers though. I would have to really mutilate the case in order to fix this completely. I have resorted to using a Bluetooth headset. Pretty disappointing for the price I paid for this case. There just are not too many options for the iPhone 5c.

I love this case.. I hesitated because I really didn't want a super bulky case, but I need a really good case. I was also concerned that I wouldn't like the front cover. I bought the defender model because of the lack of color choices in the commuter ( more color choices please Best Buy!) I am very pleased with the case overall, although the screen cover does allow dust in.. Just needs to be cleaned every so often. The connector covers are great also and don't cover the microphone .

Why does this case effect the speakers on my phone

I can't hear unless I use speaker and people on the other be have trouble hearing me.
Have the same problem with this case. You can try cutting back the covers, but that only helps some. You're better off using a headset. Major design flaw.
