Overall very clear and crisp audio with plenty of volume to make you happy. The Play 3 would do best in larger rooms like an open living room or even the garage. A Play 1 is more than enough to give full sound in a bedroom or den.
Only reason for 4 stars is because it doesnt have a battery to play unconnected. I was unaware at the time of purchase and slightly disappointed I spent $250 on a speaker that has to stay plugged in
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use and attach controllers. I like that it plugs into the wall and not my PS4 because we have 3 and dont want to be connecting to the wrong unit.
Also a nice feature is that it auto stops charging when the controller is full. I have heard of off brands continuously charging and ruining the controllers. So if you are considering this for $25 vs. one for $13 on amazon, buy genuine Sony only.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the length of the power cord on the play:3? Where does the cord connect to the play:3 - on one side of the unit, or the middle? Can I see a picture of the back of the play:3 showing where the cord enters the unit?

The power cord included is approximately 6.5 feet long.

Here are photos of the backside, there are rubber feet to have the speaker sit either way on a flat surface.
