Does this work for the PS4?
Yes it works great on the PS4. All fictions will work on the PS4. Just be sure to set the PS4 on all audio in the devices settings.

does this work for the ps4 with surround sound?
Unfortunately it doesn't work on the PS4 with the 7.1 Surround since the surround is a software update that only works on PC. The good news that this is compatible with the PS4.
