I researched mechanical keyboards for probably 6 months before deciding to purchase this keyboard. My main purpose in purchasing a mechanical keyboard was to get one I could use for gaming, but also use at work without drawing too much undue attention. For me, the pros of this keyboard are the following:
- Keys are responsive enough for gaming, but the Cherry Red switches aren't so loud that I disrupt my coworkers
- Keys are back-lit, but the light is clear and not other gaudy colors that would be inappropriate for work (even though the rainbow colors are super cool when gaming)
- Keyboard looks pretty generic overall. You probably wouldn't think the keyboard looked strange at all in an office setting unless you were familiar with the big Logitech gaming logo on the top corner.
- Gaming mode button is easy to use and convenient
- Music controls are nice
- The volume control wheel is especially nice
- Price point is good
- Durability/quality of this keyboard far outperforms any other non-mechanical keyboard I have ever purchased

I can't really think of any cons whatsoever. This keyboard is literally exactly what I wanted. I do plan to purchase another Logitech mechanical gaming keyboard at some point that is a bit more flashy, but when I do, I will leave that one at home for gaming and this one at work instead of hauling this one between both places.

This has been a really good keyboard for me. I've had it for about 2 months now and have not had any issues. It has been well worth the price. Specific pros and cons are as follows:
Pros:
- Solar powered battery works as expected. I keep it on 24/7 in a basement office that has no natural light. Every time I push the "battery check" button it shows that it is at full battery, thus showing that it does charge from my office's ceiling lights.
- It uses the same micro-USB receiver as my Logitech mouse as expected. It was very easy to pair this keyboard to the receiver that I was already using.
- Chiclet keys (this is more of a preference for me. I just prefer chiclet keys over traditional keys)
- It is very thin, but still sturdy
- Looks nice

- Some of the keys were placed in poor locations. For example, the "increase volume" key was placed adjacent to the power key. A couple of times I have inadvertently touched the power key which has put my computer in sleep mode per my personal computer's settings.

Good for gaming?
I am interested in this keyboard for travel, but would like to know if it has a good enough response time for gaming.

I use this keyboard mostly for work, but I have done some gaming with it. I have never noticed any lag or performance issues while using this keyboard. I am sure that an actual gaming keyboard will have a faster connection speed, but I don't think you'll notice any difference unless you are used to using an extremely nice gaming keyboard.

kEYBOARD WON'T TYPE UNLESS i TURN IT OFF THEN BACK ON. ONLY LASTS FOR A FEW LINES AND I HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. WHAT IS WRONG?
I HAVE ENOUGH LIGHT SO THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM; HOWEVER I HAVE TO TURN KEYBOARD OFF AND BACK ON TO GET IT TO TYPE. if
Sounds like you may have a defective keyboard or USB receiver. If it's still under warranty you should take it back to Best Buy to get a replacement.

Windows 10 Compatible?
Is the keyboard compatible with Windows 10?
Yes. I use this keyboard while running Windows 10. I have had no issues whatsoever with operating system compatibility.

How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
I work without any windows and I understand it will work for a while but if I want to charge it, I suppose i'll have to take it home or something. How long does it take then to charge fully?

I don't know how long it takes to fully charge from being completely dead, but I can tell you that I also work in a basement office without windows. I keep my keyboard on 24/7 (even through the night with no light at all) and it always remains completely charged. The keyboard charges perfectly fine just by using your office's artificial light. As long as you work with the lights on most/all of the time, you should never have to take it anywhere else to charge.
