BEWARE! They don't install all screen protectors...any advice?
I recently bought a Microsoft Pro 3 from Best Buy and a PerfectFit Privacy Glass Screen Protector from a different vendor (it's only available on bestbuy.com...not in stores). Since they don't carry this particular screen protector in store, Geek Squad will not install because if they mess up, there's no way for them to replace it immediately. I asked the rep to speak with a manager and/or see if another store will do it. Rep said they won't...it seems like I HAVE to get an in-store protector (Zagg) in order for them to install...and Zagg doesn't have the privacy glass protector for the SP3. I definitely don't want to install the protector myself. Anybody else experience this? Are there any workarounds? Thanks!
I experienced a similar situation when I received a replacement Zagg shield for my Note 4. I took it to Verizonwireless for them to install. They were reluctant but did install after I informed them that another sales rep from their store had ordered it for me and stated she would install once I received it. I guess you just have to be persistent.
