What's great about it: It's lightweight, big screen, easy keyboard and bright
What's not so great: It comes with Windows 8
This is my third Toshiba and I love it. I work on it 4 hours a day and then it's used for everything else not work related. I like the size of the screen, the fact that it's lightweight so I can travel easily with it and it's bright. Also the keyboard is easy to use. The only drawback is that it comes with Windows 8 which I do not like at all.
This product is... A touch pad that works great, Big screen size

Does this unit work in Hawaii

It does come with a Hawaii map but it kept losing signal and it is not a good thing to be lost in Oahu as there are many mountains. I kept having to use my phone to get places because this TomTom kept losing signal and took way too long to figure out where I was.

Windows OS

Is Windows 8.1 as s-hit-y as Windows 8?
Yes it is but it can be converted back to Windows 7 complete with Start button. Look it up online. The only thing I can't change is the transparency of the taskbar.
