What's great about it: long zoom, auto focus, big lcd. small
What's not so great: have to flip up flash manually
Cannon sx 170is is a upgrade from the 130is. Now have rechargable battery, not AA, better zoom. Takes great picture day or night, fits in pocket.

Is this a SLRs camera?

I'm going to a concert and I need a camera that is not a SLRs to bring into the venue? how do I tell if it is SLRs?
this is point and shoot. SLR you have a viewfinder and look straight through lens.
