Does the water completely drain?
I was told that the front loading washers do not completely drain and that sludge/sewer water remains in the unit, hence the fowl smell problems.
i was told to wipe the washer after you finish your loads, and to keep the door slightly open on all front load washers to eliminate any oders.

120 but i believe you can get a 220

i have a samsung front load never realize a filter in front of the machine can u please tell me if water is suppose to stay in that tube after each wa
i was told that some water may accumulate in the small bottom filter, and it should be cleaned every few months depending on how often you wash.

Why are the clothes so "hot" when we take them out?
The washer we purchased does not have the steam or sanitize settings. Yet when I open the door to take the clothes out they are very warm and steam does come out of the washer. It did this on both the cold and eco warm temperature settings. Is this normal? If so, what is it doing?
i can only guess that you have the hot water setting on your hot water heater too hot.

How long does a normal load take to wash?
a full wash cycle is about 70 minutes.

why ? you need to have a wash cycle to clean clothes. there is a short cycle. if you have swet clothes use the dryer.

How much room does the water hoses need?
Not sure if this will fit with the water hoses attached as I have 34 inches of space and still be able to close the doors to the washer and dryer closet or putting the washer sideways as I don't have a dryer right now and don't see being able to get one for a while.
it is the depth of the washer that is material. their may be a shorter metallic hose, but the standard hose does not take up much room, Do not use plain rubber hoses. some retailers will not install a washer without metallic hoses. The rubber hoses have been known to break and flood the laundry area.
