What's great about it: Great Samsung ecosystem product that is very usable
What's not so great: Sometimes not as fast as it could be, android mostly to blame
We have a ton of tablets in my house, from the current generation nexus 7, iPad Air, iPad Mini, to several kindles, etc. I think this Samsung strikes the best balance of cost, performance, features, and app support. Jack of all trades sums it up well.
If you have the extra money, yes the iPad Air is better. Is it worth the cost difference? Probably not. The biggest advantage to the Samsung is the expandable storage, which is the entire reason I purchased it (to use for movies in the car for the kids). Ended up liking it so much it's pretty much replaced my Nexus 7 as my goto Android tablet.

What's great about it: Love the quality of the fit and finish, and the multiple display angles are great
What's not so great: The blue color is a little too bright of a hue, but minor gripe
Can't imagine a better case for the Galaxy Tab 4! Very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Your Specifications mention that there is no support for HDMI output.
No, unless you use something like a chromecast.

Does Samsung make a tablet that charge last longer than 4 hrs without recharging?
Naturally, this all depends on your usage, but I can say that this tablet goes toe to toe with the iPad Air we also have in the house for battery life. Easily lasts a full day with normal use.
