Needed a second scanner for a big job. Got me through on time. Quality is fair but could use some help on the interface functionality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have an HP desktop PC, just updated to windows 10 64bit. Is this scanner compatible with windows 10/64bit? Has there been any problems with downloading this scanner?

Does this scanner also scan documents? Also can I attach the scanner to my laptop?

Yes and will attach via sub to laptop

is there a way to dATE THE PHOTOS when they were orginly taken?

It automatically dates in the file name

Does it have a professional mode that lets me adjust things like brightness, contrast, do backlight correction or is only automatic with the computer/scanner thinking it is smarter than me and knows how best to adjust my scans?

Can the V550 scan 11" x 17" ?

You have to scan sections and use photoshop to re join them.

Yes you do manual or auto crops
