Works well with my Mac and Time Machine. USB 3.0 works fine with my computer's USB 2.0. useful storage at a good price point.

What is the speed of the drive in RPM?

My primary use for this drive is to backup HD video files. Is the drive speed 7200RPM?
7200 rpm, USB 3.0. Transfer speed is limited more by the connection to the computer.
