Have used it for about a month and decided not to lease Time Warner Cable's modem to save a few bucks. Speeds are meeting my package speed at 100Mbps download and has capabilities to go higher. No need to reset as much and speeds remain constant with 3 smartphones, 2 tablets, 2 PC's, 2 Playstation 3's and a Smart TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As long as you have the app in your device you can cast it to the TV. There are tons of apps but besides Hulu+ and Netflix I can't see myself casting other items. Video or photo casting is available and seems cool. Not as intuitive as an Apple TV or Roku Box but overall an okay device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Definitely liked how they implemented the 70's music in this movie. Cool story and the special effects. Would watch part 2 of they made it.

do I need to run Google Chrome to use chromecast

Yes, to setup your phone or tablet. If you want to cast from your laptop, there is an extension for Chrome you can use.
