I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son last Christmas (I know - easily pleased right?) and he loves it! His only complaint is that he wishes the bin held more (he just doesn't like emptying it). Anyway, it cost less than comparable shredders last year and seemed to be better. So I'm happy and he's happy. Money well spent!

This is such a simple little device and it works great! Obviously, I can plug in two devices instead if one, but the great thing is the adjustable angle feature which allows mine to "hug" the dash and stay out of the way. Definitely worth the money.

This is the second one of these that I've owned and I love it. It's simple to operate and does what it claims and what I want. It has great battery life. My first one (NWZ-S544 -- not exactly the same model) finally died when it wouldn't take a charge anymore - after 5+ years of almost daily use!

Can scrolling thru list of albums jump over groups of letters?
I have a large number of albums I want to download. When scrolling for a particular one (e.g., "Webern") must I proceed item by item from A, or is it possible to choose a group of letters (e.g. A-E, F-I, ... Y-Z)? to speed things up?
I don't think so but you can get to the end of the alphabet quicker by scrolling backwards starting at "z". Also there are different categories for choosing what you want to listen to - like Artist, Genre, Release year etc. - that may help you get there quicker.

Overdrive
Can you use this model with Overdrive to download audio books from the library?
YES! I do it all the time. You have to have the Overdrive software on your computer (should be able to download it from your library/overdrive site). Download the book and when that's done hit transfer. It should find your device, asking if that's where you want to transfer the book and you hit continue and ta-da it's done.
