I had so many images to retouch on one project that I decided to get a Wacom to ease my wrist pain. It took awhile to get used to but the tablet works really well in Lightroom and Photoshop. I have dual 24" monitors and all reviews said to get the largest tablet. I got the small and think it is perfect. Any larger and my arm would be moving way too much. The only thing I do not think is ergonomic is scrolling. I eventually found that mapping "pan/scroll" to one of my pen buttons was the most efficient for me, but a mouse wheel is still way more efficient.

What other software can go with this tablet? Specially in question Photoshop?
This replaces or works side by side with a mouse. It will work with any program. The pen form factor just makes certain tasks like photoshop pen/paintbrush/airbrush/eraser/etc more natural to use.
