PLUS: It is easy to setup. The video quality is excellent.
MINUS: There is a camera detection feature that is poorly documented. The camera detects other cameras but it isn't clear what the purpose is for this or how to turn it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was initially a bit hesitant pulling the trigger on purchasing this TV. It carries a high cost, I wasn't sure about the long term prospects of OLED, and I can't recall ever owning a LG television. After a month of use I can say I am still pleased with this television. The picture is the clearest I've ever owned, and the smart television aspects are top notch. Most of the applications on prior smart TVs I've owned (Samsung) were slow and seemed like more of an after thought. Not the case on this LG television. The apps are really snappy and easy to access. The magic remote pointer is superb.
I haven't personally encountered any screen burn in issues related to the OLED display but that being said I am careful about leaving still images on the screen for long periods of time, like pausing via DVR for example.
Finally, I do have the TV VESA mounted on a TV stand. Due to the thin screen the screws are towards the bottom half of the TV. Not a deal breaker. The TV seems to sit a bit high which initially seemed strange, but honestly I think I prefer it that way now after a month of viewing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I heard good things about cooking via sous-vide so I thought I would give this a try. There are some good advantages such as cooking cuts of the same type of meat differently based on the individual tastes of family members, i.e. placing lemon pepper chicken and spicy chicken breasts in different bags but using the same immersion bath. There is also the minimal clean up needed afterwards which is nice.
On the negative side though it is almost a requirement to finish off anything you cook via sous-vide either by grill or stove top. I knew this would be needed in some instances such as steak or pork for example but I hoped to get away without doing this using chicken. Unfortunately the family did not care for the texture of the chicken without finishing it up on stove top or grill so that's one step you almost always have to do if you're hoping for simplicity. Most of the cook times are fairly lengthy so this probably isn't the product you're looking for if cooking meals quickly is a requirement, although to be fair the sous-vide bath doesn't requirement much attention once it is started.
I think in the end this is a good product in certain scenarios but isn't going to be something I will be using on daily or semi-daily basis going forward.

I purchased this mouse as a replacement for a wireless mouse that was crapping out and figured I would go with this Corsair since I was using one of their mechanical keyboards which I was I happy with. In the end I could never get used to this mouse so I gave it away. It worked well enough I suppose but it felt very light with hardly any heft. I prefer a heavier mouse as a matter of preference.
Pros: Lights up real pretty. Has a nice race car aesthetic. Relatively inexpensive.
Cons: Weighs next to nothing. Build quality feels cheap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this remote to replace my aging Harmony 650. I managed to get it on sale for half price and have been happy with it, but it may be a tough sell for some at the full price.
Pros: Cleanly power cycles all of my equipment without hassle, especially when compared to my prior remote. I didn't think I would care about this feature but the ability to program favorite channels has been nice.
Cons: The Harmony software is not great. It works well enough at setting up your equipment but configuring customized buttons can be a chore.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the extra HDMI port for? It's located above the HDMI port for the graphics card. There's also another DVI port next to it, so I assume both of these ports are useless since when I plug into them no other displays are detected???

Does this remote have a "help" button? I have a harmony 900 (which I loved), anytime I was having trouble the help button got me out of it.
