Just bought my third Chromecast and, obviously, I love them. They can turn any tv with an HDMI port into a "smart tv". I cast music and youtube on a regular basis. Works great. Easy to set up. Easily worth 35 bucks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

chromecast into smart dvd player

I have an older TV and the hdmi port Is broken. Can the chromecast be plugged into my smart dvd player?
I think it will work. I have mine plugged into an HDMI port on my Pioneer receiver and it works perfectly. Just change the source to the correct input and... magic.
