I love the remote. I was able to set it up and get the TV working in no time. The only issue is the software, which is why I deducted a star. Sometimes it will hang up while syncing and it once messed up the remote. Luckily a restart allowed full sync and the remote started working again. What I've found is you get one sync form the software and then you have to reboot. Other than that, the hardware is great. I've added several other tasks to it since then.
I would recommend this to a friend!

will this remote work with u-verse tv

I use it with my Uverse DVR and it works great. Make sure you know the DVR model as AT&T is not listed. My DVR model is Pace.

I bought the Harmony 650, the cable to the remote, kept disconnecting from the sync process, was able to add 3 devices to the remote for the TV but got 99% synced for the Dish Joey but wouldn't finish, is this a cable problem or a remote problem.. HELP

It is a software issue. Reboot your machine and try syncing again.

Will this work for a Samsung smart TV and for dish network dvr feature?

It should. I have UVerse and I entered the name of my DVR. It synced and I had all of my DVR buttons.

Will this remote 650 program my Yamaha receiver RX-v757, as original remote misplaced not able to find? Please advise ASAP

It worked on my Yamaha receiver. Should work fine as Logitech updates their device database quite often.
