kept saying antenna problems

I had everything connected and could not get a signal. tried two different antennas which were placed in a bay window. kept saying antenna disconnected or damaged even tho I tried two different antennas and moved them around
Had a little problem aligning antenna in house but once got a signal it stayed locked ib.
