This was $200 cheaper than Lowes, Sears or Home Depot. We love the fact that it is a French doors fridge, has lots of storage and works great. Cons - the cover on the full size pull out drawer comes off too easily, the ice maker will drop ice if you have the top drawer of the freezer open so it goes in the underpart of the freezer and is mostly unreachable, the freezer compartment is awkwardly designed making it hard to have multiple large items in the freezer. In the end we had to replace our fridge and this was both a reasonably priced option that also gave us the French doors fridge we wanted.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ours is very quiet, I barely notice it.

Is the stainless on this model considered a smudge-proof surface?

Ours has smudged, but we have 3 small kids as well so nothing stays clean for long.
