Does the drive have hardware-based encryption?
Is this a self-encrypting drive (SED)? If not do you make (Seagate) or sell one (Best Buy)?
If this were a SED, I believe it would be advertised and perhaps more expensive. My understanding, is that these are plain regular hard drives--albeit small, portable, USB 3.0, and run without separate power cable.
