If you're like me still using a few cameras requiring mini-dv, these cassettes are the way to go! I'm using heavily used canon gl2s, and other tapes just don't hold up! The film rips on rewind! This tape is tough! Holds up! Captures the best high definition footage on a tape... Only things I have experienced is the occasional drop frames during capture, but I can't quite connect that to a flaw on the tape as much as I can connect it to either the tape deck or computer.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this tape compatible with older Mini DV camcorder?

Hello - I have a mini DV camcorder - Panasonic PV-GS320. Will these tapes improve the picture any? The PV-GS0320 is not HD.

Hi! Yes it is compatible with any camcorder that records to mini dv. Note, (obviously) this will not magically turn your footage to HD, but you will get the best possible quality picture your camera can produce. I also find that they just don't make "other" tapes like they used to... They bend, the film breaks on rewind, etc. This tape is not like them. Consider this tape babying your old mini-dv camcorder! Hope this helps!
