I have occasional power outages and use a Generac GP7500 generator for back up at home. Will the BN700MC act as a line filter between outlet and computer?

Will the power range be more so if I use it as a backup to my sump pump when power goes out and the pump triggers approx every 20 minutes?

Hi, you need to check the surge wattage of the sump pump, if it exceeds the watts provided by the Back-UPS then it will not work.

Does it have a power outage alarm/beep?

My present battery back-up system has a piercing beep that sounds every minute or two while the power is out. Very disturbing, especially middle of night. Does the APC-Back-UPS 700VA Battery Back -Up System have an alarm system of any sort, and if so, what?

Hi, yes, it has a power outage alarm/beep. However, I cannot tell if it is disturbing in the middle of the night because mine is located inside a TV cabinet in the living room, far from my bedroom. During the day the sound is barely noticeable when there are power outages.
