What's great about it: Easy set up, use and great graphics.
What's not so great: Common loss of signal
All in all the Garmin is a great GPS full of features for an affordable price!

Typing in cities.

Looking for a newer GPS and was wondering if the GPS requires you to type in the City or will the gps automatically route you based on how close you are to a particular location. The current model we have with the fire department requires this and that takes costly time, and seconds save lives. Thanks in advance
It doesn't automatically route anywhere but a plus is that it's fast and when typing the city it usually gives you a short list of possibilities to choose from after typing the first few letters. It then asks for the number and street but after the first few letters a drop down menu with relevant possibles pops up and you can choose your selections. Much faster than GPS's I have owned in the past. I hope this helps and thank you for the job you do!
