Bought this because Cox required a Docsis 3.0 modem in order to ensure stable connection. Got this one due to decent price compared to others and recommended from a friend. It works great and has a decent WiFi range.

Honestly, I really enjoyed this movie when I saw it in theatres, that I just had to purchase it for myself! The special effects were top notch and Chris Pratt's acting is amazing. I highly recommend this movie to everyone, especially anyone who loves the original Jurassic Park movies.

Told to upgrade modem with Cox.

Do I need to or should I purchase a modem/router unit or just the new 3.0 modem and continue to use my current router?

It is up to you. Your old router will continue to work with just a DOCSIS 3.0 Modem. The benefit here is that it is all in one package. If I personally already have a router, I would just simply continue using that.
