This dryer is perfect for anyone. I have 4 children and we wash a lot of clothes. But with its oversized drum,which is almost the same size as those in a laundromat, quick dry sensors, and efficiency... My washing machine just can't keep up... Also I no longer have to iron clothes because it does that to with it's wrinkle release setting.... I love it!!! I love it so much I named it... Steadman...lol
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can the door be changed to open right to left or left to right?

Yes. There are instructions in the manual.

Where is the dryer vent located?

On the back. At the very bottom. Right side.

Yes. That's what I did. They are all the same.

Is a strong odor normal for the first cycle? If so how to get rid of

I just got my new machine today and when I run it (even if only for like 5 minutes) it has this very heavy smell, which the clothes also pick up. What do I need to do to get rid of it, will it go away on its own?
Yes. A strong odor is normal for the first few cycles. It's just dust from the factory that has settled in the machine. But after a few uses it goes away. That also happens with stoves and ovens.
