Have only been using the unit for a few weeks but it seems to do the job. It made no sense to pay for the repair of my computer's internal drive when I couldn't even get an estimate of the cost. For a modest sum I saved the time, expense and trouble of a repair.

The drive came in very handy when Geeksquad was finally able to upgrade me to Windows 10 after several unsuccessful attempts on their part. When I got the computer back Windows 10 had indeed been installed but all the rest of the hard drive had been erased. So the backup on the drive was a lifesaver.
I have yet to figure out why I keep getting messages that the recycle bin "is corrupted" or why I always get messages that "Not all files have been backed up." I have yet to get to the bottom of that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good machine for copying, scanning and printing. Black and white copies are excellent and are almost indistinguishable from the originals. Color copies are good but do lose a bit of vibrancy from the original. Scanning function works very well. Be careful of using generic replacement ink to refill cartridges. It can muck up the machine badly.

I have only had the unit for a few weeks. It was an open box item which I got for a fabulous price. I needed to replace my 25 year old Sony receiver and this one seemed to be perfect. I have barely scratched the surface of the innumerable things it is apparently capable of doing but so far I am quite pleased.

I was talked into buying the cable even though I thought I had one at home. "You can always return it," they said. I did have it at home and had to come all the way back to the store to return it. It was also extremely expensive for a simple cable.

who to use the CD
I've burned some songs to a disc. Now I want to edit it. Can I delete some songs from the disc? Can I add songs to the disc? Can I delete everything on the disc and start all over again, or once a disc is burned, is it permanent and unchangeable?
Once you've burned it you can't edit it. It is too late. This is not a rewriteable disc (a DCRW )which can be edited or completely erased.
