Would not with with my iMac or my OLDER White MacBook. Tried on different TVs and nope, doesn't even register that there is "mirror" available. Just was waste of a port. I ordered some no name brand from China and it worked, but this, this product did NOT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had never had a PTZ camera before nor how to really use one. I came with "extra parts and wires" Didn't really explain how to hook it up, but I got the jist of it. As with all things I hooked it up "My Way" and it works great. I can zoom in down the road about half a block and tell you the persons Lic. Plate number. I thought it was like my other camera and that it had LED lights for the dark. It does NOT. But there is a street light across from where it's mounted and with just that little bit of light it does great!! I like it and I want 2 or 3 more!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

what about night vision

illumination at night
If it's not pitch black dark it will show images black and white. If it is pitch black dark, no picture!! You can always use xmas lights, on Security cameras they show up really bight!!
